AMETEK Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer in the United Kingdom to program, set and operate CNC turning and milling machines to produce high-precision components.

Qualifications

• 5 years in a similar role.
• Proven experience with CNC turning and milling.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate CNC turning, milling and mill-turn machines to produce high-precision components from drawings.
• Maintain tight tolerances and ensure on-time delivery to production schedules.
• Prepare and adjust tooling, calibrate offsets and optimise programs for efficiency.
• Conduct in-process and final inspection using micrometers, verniers, bore gauges and CMM.
