Job summary

Tiro Associates Ltd is seeking an experienced Lead CMF Designer to join our forward-thinking design team in the UK. Reporting to the Head of Colour and Trim, you will lead the development of innovative CMF solutions across future products and drive high-quality execution.

The role is hybrid with 3 days onsite per week, occasional travel to suppliers and trade shows. Proficiency in Photoshop and 3D CAD tools, plus a strong CMF portfolio, are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven CMF design experience, ideally in automotive.
• Strong portfolio showing conceptual and/or production design work.
• Experience leading design projects.
• Degree in Design or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Photoshop and familiarity with 3D CAD tools.
• Knowledge of VRed preferred.
• Strong digital and visualization skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of CMF design proposals from concept through to production.
• Deliver innovative, forward-thinking design solutions aligned to brand and product strategy.
• Develop and present design concepts in 2D, 3D, and digital formats.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Support problem solving and feasibility within design and production constraints.
• Present ideas and concepts to senior stakeholders, including at director level.
• Conduct research, benchmarking, and trend analysis.
