Job summary

Trimble is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to own and scale production infrastructure on cloud environments. You will implement IaC with Terraform, enhance observability using multiple monitoring tools, and drive CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub.

The role involves leading incident response and collaborating across teams to ensure reliability, security, and performance of Trimble's cloud-based solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience owning production infrastructure.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Strong scripting and IaC capabilities (Terraform).
• Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Experience with monitoring and incident management tools (Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, DataDog, Splunk).
• Solid understanding of networking and security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Enhance observability with tools like New Relic, DataDog, Sumologic and Splunk.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub.
• Lead incident response and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system designs for reliability and security.
