Job summary

Trimble is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to own and improve production cloud platforms across Azure and AWS, with IaC, CI/CD, and on‑call responsibilities. You will automate deployments, drive reliability, and collaborate with product and operations teams.

You will lead incident response, perform root‑cause analyses, and develop runbooks and dashboards. Monitoring will use New Relic, DataDog, Grafana, Splunk, CloudWatch and other tools; strong Python scripting and Terraform are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of technical experience with ownership of production infrastructure.
• Excellent collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure or AWS).
• Proficiency in Python and Terraform; containerization (Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, Argo CD, Helm).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain IaC with Terraform for reliable cloud environments.
• Implement and enhance observability and monitoring across platforms.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and code deployments for smooth delivery.
• Lead incident response and root‑cause analyses; develop long‑term solutions.
• Create and maintain runbooks and runbooks for incident response and ops tasks.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on technical designs and reliability.
