Job summary

Zempler Bank is seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer to join our Technology & Security Operations team in the UK. This hands-on role focuses on designing, building and improving security controls, tooling and processes protecting cloud, application, Microsoft 365 and infrastructure environments.

You’ll collaborate with engineering, threat detection and incident response to strengthen our security posture.

Qualifications

• Hands-on information security engineering role.
• Experience securing cloud environments and Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve security controls across cloud and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Develop detections, automations and response capabilities using SIEM, SOAR and security tooling.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents and drive lessons learned.
• Conduct threat hunting and use threat intelligence to identify risks.
• Manage vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation with teams.
• Support secure development practices and embed security into delivery pipelines.
• Contribute to security architecture, threat modelling and technical design reviews.
• Help improve cyber resilience, recovery capabilities and operational security processes.
