Zempler Bank is seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer to join our Technology & Security Operations team in the UK. This hands-on role focuses on designing, building and improving security controls, tooling and processes protecting cloud, application, Microsoft 365 and infrastructure environments.

You’ll collaborate with engineering, threat detection and incident response to strengthen our security posture.

As we continue to grow, security remains at the heart of everything we do. We're looking for a Senior Information Security Engineer to join our Technology & Security Operations team. This is a hands‑on role where you'll help design, build and continually improve the security controls, tooling and processes that protect our cloud, application, Microsoft 365 and infrastructure environments. You'll work across security engineering, threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, cloud security and cyber resilience, partnering closely with engineering teams and our external Security Operations Centre to strengthen our security posture and stay ahead of emerging threats.

What you’ll be doing

What we’re looking for

• Security Engineering, Security Operations or Cloud Security
• Microsoft Azure (preferred), AWS or GCP
• SIEM and SOAR platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel or Splunk
• Microsoft Defender, Entra ID, EDR/XDR and identity security technologies
• Incident response, threat hunting and vulnerability management
• Scripting and automation using tools such as PowerShell, Python or Terraform
• Working collaboratively with engineers to build secure, scalable solutions
