Job summary

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team seeks a hands-on, security-focused Delivery Consultant to design, build, and implement security solutions in real customer environments. You will write infrastructure as code and engineer automated controls that scale across complex cloud estates, embedding security into workloads from the ground up.

As a trusted technical advisor, you will guide security architecture decisions, threat modelling, and the implementation of controls

Qualifications

• Experience as technical specialist in design and architecture.
• Experience architecting, securing, and operating Amazon Web Services.
• Experience in domains such as access-control, network security, application- and system-development security, cryptography, operations security.
• Experience writing infrastructure as code (CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform).
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical security challenges in distributed cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Delivering security outcomes within customer engagements using AWS security services and infrastructure as code.
• Solving security challenges across identity, network security, data protection, and detection and response to build tailored solutions.
• Collaborating with project teams to define and implement security solutions and identify follow-on opportunities for AWS.
• Managing and escalating risks; presenting options and recommendations and driving resolution within your workstream.
• Developing depth as a security domain expert while maintaining broad AWS security knowledge.
• Contributing to the broader security practice with reusable content and reference architectures.
