Job summary

Aws Emea Sarl (Uk Branch) is seeking a security assurance professional to demonstrate and scale security controls across diverse teams and technologies. The role focuses on auditing, regulatory compliance, and process improvement within Amazon's security program.

You will work with customers and regulators to ensure control implementation aligns with global standards, influencing the future of security assurance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Security, Computer Science, Risk Management, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or related discipline.
• Experience in Business English skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience performing technical audits/assessments in support of major compliance efforts (ISO, NIST, SOX, PCI, HIPAA, GDPR).
• Information security professional certifications (CISSP, CCSP, CEH, CFR, Cloud+ or similar).
• Experience conducting IT audits based on ISAE 3402 and ISO 27001/22301, UK Cyber Essentials+.

Responsibilities

• Dive deep into the Amazon control environment to develop broad domain and technical understanding of security activities and control implementations.
• Develop understanding of regulated industry compliance requirements and communicate how we control activities to meet global regulatory obligations.
• Liaise with customers, regulators and auditors and describe considerations for applying security and compliance concepts.
• Implement continuous improvements to the security organization and program management process.
• Apply a working knowledge of global information security regulation and policy to articulate customer and control impact.
