Job summary

AWS EMEA SARL (UK Branch) is seeking a Security Service Assurance Specialist to lead day-to-day security assurance activities and evaluate compliance for AWS services. You will collaborate with internal teams and customers to define baselines, manage evidence requests, and maintain security documentation.

You will need at least 2 years of cloud security assessment experience, UK security clearance eligibility, and strong data-driven reporting skills to support high-security customers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in performing technical assessments or audits within a cloud environment.
• Experience with AWS or cloud technologies and foundational security principles.
• Proven analytical and quantitative skills with ability to back up assumptions with data.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to establish baselines and agree security requirements and controls.
• Manage requests for evidence related to key security controls with stakeholders.
• Review security of proposed AWS systems, networks and designs for risks and integration issues.
• Liaise between stakeholders and AWS communities to articulate control implementations.
• Develop understanding of the AWS control environment and communicate to customers and stakeholders.
• Work across AWS teams to establish and maintain information security documentation.
