Job summary

Anson McCade Pty in Manchester is seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to design and support scalable cloud platforms on AWS and Azure, with a strong focus on DevSecOps and IaC using Terraform.

You will drive reliability through SRE principles, implement observability, and mentor engineers in a hybrid work environment. The role offers a salary of £65,000 per year with a bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with AWS and/or Azure.
• Commercial DevSecOps engineering experience.
• Proven Terraform and IaC skills.
• Understanding of SRE, CI/CD, and cloud-native practices.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• Comfortable leading technical discussions and mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable cloud platforms across AWS and Azure.
• Build Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Drive DevSecOps practices and raise engineering standards.
• Implement SRE principles, observability, monitoring, and reliability improvements.
• Support production environments and mentor engineers.
