Job summary

Moneycorp is seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to own day-to-day Azure platform operations across Windows and Linux, delivering secure, scalable IaaS/PaaS workloads and landing zones. You will design reusable modules with Terraform/Bicep and drive automation with DSC/Ansible, while mentoring engineers and aligning with DevOps/SRE teams.

You will implement Azure security, RBAC, and networking patterns, contribute to cost optimization, and deliver CI/CD templates via Azure DevOps or GitHub

Qualifications

• Azure IaaS/PaaS, landing zones, subscriptions, RBAC, policy, and governance.
• Strong Windows Server administration with Linux experience for broader support.
• Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform and/or Bicep; Git workflows.

Responsibilities

• Operate and improve Azure platform services and IaaS workloads across Windows and Linux.
• Implement security baselines and patch orchestration; maintain desired state with DSC or Ansible.
• Own observability runbooks, alerting, metrics, logs, backups, and DR drills; reduce MTTR.
• Deliver CI/CD templates in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions with policy gates & SBOM.
• Enable Internal Developer Platform for IaC/CaC self-service provisioning.
• Collaborate with DevOps/SRE to standardize container/registry patterns for AKS/ARO.
