NPAworldwide is partnering with a mission-led technology consultancy delivering secure, scalable software solutions for the UK Government and Defence sector. The Senior Software Engineer will shape architecture, mentor others, and stay hands-on with code in an agile environment.

You'll design secure cloud-native applications, collaborate with architects, PO, and DevOps, and drive best-practice engineering across the SDLC in a hybrid, flexible working setup.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial software engineering experience in modern app development.
• Experience building scalable apps, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Proficient with cloud platforms and modern delivery practices.
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, containers, and IaC.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable software solutions.
• Lead design and implementation of APIs, microservices, cloud-native apps.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, user-focused solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering standards and delivery processes.
