Job summary

Lynx Recruitment is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead design and development of modern cloud-native applications for enterprise clients using Microsoft Azure. You will work across the full software lifecycle, shaping architecture and delivering high-quality solutions.

The role combines hands-on coding with technical consulting, mentoring engineers, promoting best practices, and collaborating with architects, engineers and stakeholders to build scalable, resilient platforms on Azure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' commercial software engineering experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• IT/Technology-related university degree (minimum 2.1).
• Strong understanding of cloud-native application development on Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver modern cloud-native applications.
• Build scalable, secure and resilient event-driven solutions.
• Develop production-quality software using .NET and modern web technologies.
• Contribute to technical architecture and solution design.
• Review code and mentor junior engineers.
• Build and maintain APIs and integration services.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and improve system reliability through monitoring, testing and automation.
• Work closely with clients and stakeholders throughout project delivery.
