HelloKindred is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement and operate cloud-native platforms. You will work across AWS, Kubernetes, IaC (Terraform) and DevOps practices to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure in enterprise settings.

Based in the UK, this hybrid role involves collaboration with engineering, security and product teams to drive automation, cost management and platform standards while supporting complex migrations and open-source solutions.

Formación

• Extensive hands-on experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, or DevOps within enterprise environments.
• Proven ability to design, build, deploy, monitor, and support production platforms and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong practical knowledge of AWS and Kubernetes, including highly available, secure, resilient, and scalable solutions.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, version control, and controlled production deployments.
• Working knowledge of Docker, Helm, service mesh, Python, and monitoring/alerting tools.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to cloud, DevOps, and platform engineering initiatives across AWS and Kubernetes to deliver secure, scalable infrastructure.
• Work within engineering pods to define technical requirements, conduct design reviews, and provide hands-on support throughout delivery.
• Design, build, configure, and operate AWS-based solutions using IaC (Terraform) to improve deployment efficiency.
• Develop and enhance Kubernetes platform capabilities to support increasing demand and improve resilience.
• Implement and maintain cloud cost management practices, including tagging, rightsizing, and capacity planning.
• Support evaluation and adoption of open-source tech and LLM solutions with security and compliance alignment.
• Apply release management and production-readiness processes, including monitoring, logging, and incident preparedness.
• Collaborate with Cloud Services, Architecture, Security, and IT teams to achieve platform standards.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance stability, security, and operational excellence.
