Job summary

HelloKindred in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design, build and automate AWS-based infrastructure supporting data and analytics platforms. The role focuses on creating secure and scalable cloud environments with IaC-based provisioning.

You will implement security controls, manage IAM, VPCs and networking, and collaborate with development, architecture and security teams to deliver reliable platform deployments in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• AWS infrastructure experience required.
• Knowledge of IAM, VPCs, networking and authentication.
• IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Cloud security principles, governance and compliance.
• Automation of deployment and environment management.
• Strong troubleshooting and operational support skills.
• Eligible for BPSS clearance.
• PAYE employment through Umbrella company.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy AWS infrastructure environments to support platform workloads.
• Configure core AWS services, networking, security groups, IAM roles and access controls.
• Implement and maintain cloud security policies per enterprise standards.
• Develop IaC scripts for provisioning and recreation of environments.
• Ensure scalable, resilient, secure and efficient infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development, architecture and security teams on deployments and enhancements.
