Job summary

eTeam is recruiting a Senior Infrastructure Engineer in Sheffield to design, implement, and operate cloud-native infrastructure. The role focuses on AWS, Kubernetes, IaC with Terraform, and modern DevOps practices to deliver secure, scalable platforms for enterprise environments.

You will drive automation, cost optimization, and platform resilience while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on cloud/platform engineering or DevOps in large-scale environments.
• Strong AWS and Kubernetes design, deployment, and operations experience.
• Expertise with Terraform IaC and modern CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to cloud, DevOps, and platform initiatives across AWS and Kubernetes.
• Design, build, configure, and operate AWS-based solutions using IaC.
• Develop and enhance Kubernetes platform capabilities for resilience and scale.
• Implement cloud cost management, tagging, and capacity planning.
• Support evaluation of open-source tech and LLM workloads in AWS/Kubernetes.
• Apply release management, automation, monitoring, and incident readiness.
• Collaborate with security, risk, and IT teams to meet standards.
• Drive continuous improvement for platform stability and observability.
