Job summary

TrueNorth® is seeking a Head of Cloud, IT & Security in London to own the cloud, IT operations and security environment. This hands-on, operational leadership role requires broad ownership across cloud, infrastructure, security and SaaS platforms, with hybrid working and a minimum 3 days onsite.

You will manage Azure as the core platform alongside AWS, lead security governance and incident response, and work with external partners to maintain resilience and compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience across IT infrastructure, cloud and security.
• Experience managing cloud environments (Azure preferred) and security operations.
• Exposure to SaaS platforms and enterprise technology.
• Stakeholder and supplier management capability.

Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of IT operations, cloud infrastructure and cyber security.
• Managing predominantly Azure environments alongside AWS, with Azure the strategic direction
• Acting as the senior escalation point across infrastructure, cloud and security
• Managing outsourced MSP, service desk and security partners
• Owning Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, identity and endpoint management
• Supporting vulnerability management, incident response and wider security operations
• Leading cloud governance, resilience, disaster recovery and business continuity
• Providing technical and architectural oversight across enterprise SaaS applications
• Identifying opportunities to use AI and automation to improve internal processes and productivity
• Remaining hands-on when required
