Job summary

RELX's Mendeley Infrastructure team is seeking a Systems Engineer to contribute to the design, operation and continuous improvement of cloud-based enterprise environments powering research workflows.

You will work with cloud technologies, automation, Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practices, collaborating with development, support and platform teams to deliver reliable, secure and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure solutions within established architectural guidelines
• Respond to and assist in diagnosing system management alerts and operational exceptions, escalating where appropriate
• Apply and advocate infrastructure best practices within the team
• Contribute to scripts, automation, and Infrastructure as Code development
