Work environment

Your work location will vary between company offices, client sites, and your home, depending on role and needs. Note that remote work is not 100% possible. Your role

As a senior AWS Engineering Team member, you will work with clients to design, build, and implement innovative cloud solutions. You will leverage your expertise in AWS and related technologies to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions, collaborating across teams, and acting as a trusted advisor.

1. Drive cloud solutions using AWS services, DevOps principles, and modern engineering practices.
2. Build and manage scalable infrastructure and serverless architectures with Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, and AWS serverless technologies.
3. Promote continuous improvement through Agile and SCRUM methodologies, engaging stakeholders effectively.
4. Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering growth and learning.

Skills and experience

• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS) and cloud application development.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes and managing containerized applications at scale.
• Strong background in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Application development skills in Java, Go, or Python.
• Experience with DevOps practices, continuous delivery, GitOps, and Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proactive learning attitude, with AWS certification as a bonus (training support provided).

Security Clearance

Applicants must obtain Security Check (SC) clearance, which requires residency in the UK for the past 5 years and other criteria. Some roles may be restricted to UK nationals for security reasons.
