Job summary

Public Services Delivery Scotland (PSD Scotland) is recruiting for an IT Principal Engineer within the NSS Cloud Team. The role focuses on supporting, maintaining and securing over 100 production subscriptions and 200 test/development subscriptions hosted in the NSS enterprise tenancy, across Azure and AWS.

You will engage with IaC, IaaS and PaaS deployments, gain cloud skills through team training and external courses, and develop scripting and automation capabilities with Ansible and

• Experience in infrastructure support, with exposure to cloud technologies.
• Willingness to learn and develop cloud skills through training.
• Ability to work with automation tools and scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain and secure 100+ production subscriptions and 200+ test/dev subscriptions in NSS Cloud environment.
• Work with IaC, IaaS and PaaS in Azure and AWS.
• Develop skills in scripting and automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform; aid in application management in Azure.
