Job summary

Colibri Digital is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure for clients across the UK and EMEA. This remote-first role focuses on delivering robust data platforms, secure architectures, and efficient automation, with occasional travel to London for meetings.

You will drive IaC strategies, mentor peers, and collaborate with client stakeholders to translate business needs into secure cloud solutions using AWS and other cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in DevOps or cloud consultancy delivering end-to-end solutions.
• Extensive AWS services experience (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, Glue, EKS/ECS).
• Proficient with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Strong CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent communications with stakeholders and client-facing delivery.

Responsibilities

• Consult and design cloud solutions for clients, especially AWS/Azure-based.
• Lead IaC deployments using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Architect data platforms, data lakes, and ML environments on cloud.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for infra and apps.
• Provide managed services, security, governance, and support for client clouds.
• Support pre-sales with technical expertise and proposals.
• Mentor junior staff and share best practices across teams.
