Job summary

Colibri is seeking a Cloud Capability Lead - Azure to own and drive highly complex Azure engagements in a remote-UK setup, staying hands-on and technically authoritative. You will shape standards, presales support, and the growth of the Azure team while maintaining substantial billability.

The role emphasizes leadership through technical excellence, delivering at client sites and guiding the wider Azure practice within Colibri. UK travel to client sites and London offices is expected.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ year career in cloud/infrastructure consulting designing and delivering Microsoft Azure solutions at architect level.
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification (or equivalent).
• Experience in presales, solutioning, estimating and contributing to SOWs/proposals.
• Track record growing a technical capability's standards and reputation within a consultancy or SI.

Responsibilities

• Personally lead design, build and delivery on the most complex Azure engagements.
• Maintain technical quality: architecture decisions, security baselines, design/docs, QA.
• Define Azure technical standards and tooling choices for the capability.
• Contribute to scoping, estimating and tender responses for Azure opportunities.
• Support Microsoft partnership and co-sell activities.
• Mentor and input into recruitment for the Azure team.
