We believe in high autonomy, and we want people who are looking to do things differently in order to create better experiences for our customers.

We work in cross-functional teams and are laser-focused on increasing the number of active clients we serve to drive sustainable growth.

Your team

Our Cloud Platform Team is instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure in AWS and GCP, while creating tools that empower other teams to work more efficiently. We serve as key technical enablers, building automation and self-service capabilities that streamline operations across the organisation.

Our Cloud Platform Team thrives on making complex systems accessible to others, with a passion for removing technical barriers and enabling teams to focus on their core objectives rather than infrastructure challenges. You'll live and breathe cloud technologies and platform engineering. Since this is a platform role building tools for internal customers, you need deep expertise in core AWS services, understand their integration patterns, and know how to architect secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions.

Your role in the Team's Success

We're seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer who's passionate about building the cloud foundation that powers innovation at scale. You'll build and automate our multi-cloud platform (AWS, GCP), creating the self-service tools and landing zones that enable hundreds of developers to ship faster, safer, and smarter.

Manage the cloud environments, formalise them using IAC, and connect with the on-prem infrastructure.

Provide tools for continuous delivery, management, and audit of the AWS/GCP cloud.

Create automation of repetitive processes, and hand them over to the development teams

What you'll do

Design and implement automated cloud infrastructure provisioning and management processes

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolchains for accelerated software delivery

Develop Infrastructure as Code templates using Terraform, CDK, or similar tools

Establish and maintain secure, scalable landing zones in AWS (primary) and GCP

Create self-service platforms and automation tools for internal development teams

Define and implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions

Collaborate with development and operations teams to solve complex technical challenges

Ensure cloud security best practices and compliance requirements are met

Document technical architectures, processes, and runbooks for knowledge sharing

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members

How we work

We try to take a thoughtful approach to our ways of working as a company. We follow a hybrid working model with 3 days in the office -- which we think balances the need to collaborate effectively and connect with each other. When it comes to how we deliver, there are 5 things we want everyone to do to drive high performance, better learning and career satisfaction:

Lead and Inspire: Drives trust, alignment, and enthusiasm

Think Big: Focus on the problems that most impact commercial outcomes

Champion the client: Understand and prioritise client's needs

Raise the bar: Take ownership, be accountable and share feedback

What you'll need for this role

10+ years of total experience with at least 4 years designing and managing complex cloud infrastructure platforms in AWS

4+ years hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CDK, Pulumi, CloudFormation)

Strong DevSecOps expertise: CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, container security, and automation

Deep understanding of cloud networking: VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateways, VPN, hybrid connectivity

Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Go, or Bash)

Proven track record in building secure container images and managing container registries

Ability to drive technology standardisation and automation initiatives at scale

Strong documentation and communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders

Leadership mindset with the ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams

Problem-solving orientation with focus on building reusable, scalable solutions

Technical Skills:

Experience with DevOps tools: Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, Artifactory, or equivalent

Strong understanding of IaaS and PaaS architectural patterns

Experience implementing monitoring and observability solutions (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional certification

GCP experience and certification

Experience building cloud landing zones and multi-account strategies

Background in financial services or regulated industries

Experience with Kubernetes administration in cloud and hybrid environments
