Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services seeks an Engagement Manager to lead the delivery of complex cloud solutions for clients, bridging business needs with technical outcomes and guiding cross‑functional teams.

You will apply AWS frameworks, manage technical risk, and communicate with executives to ensure customer value and successful program outcomes across enterprise engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM field.
• Understanding of the value proposition of the public cloud and cloud engagement delivery (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Experience in leading multiple Agile teams (Scrum Masters, Product Owners) concurrently or at scale.
• Experience in leading and delivering enterprise‑level IT engagements.
• Active project management certification (e.g., APM, CSM, PMI‑ACP, PRINCE2).
• Experience delivering customer engagements in a professional services role.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing complex cloud business transformation projects/programmes from inception to completion.
• Ensuring successful delivery of project/programme outcomes within agreed time frames, budget and quality parameters.
• Developing and executing project/programme level planning with the agility to adjust strategies as necessary to meet evolving business objectives.
• Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across customers, partners and internal teams at all levels.
• Driving key decisions and resolving project/programme level risks and issues.
• Establishing robust governance model, project/programme structure and communication plan.
• Leading a multidisciplinary teams of technical specialists.
• Ensuring compliance with security, regulatory and governance requirements.
• Bridging business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating engineering discussions and ensuring alignment with customer business outcomes.
• Distilling customer needs into clear technical requirements and map them to business outcomes.
