Job summary

AVEVA is seeking a Senior Cloud Developer to join the AVEVA Unified Supply Chain R&D team in Cambridge, designing, building and operating a cutting-edge SaaS scheduling solution for the oil and gas industry within AVEVA CONNECT.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver highly available Azure-based services, leveraging AKS, C# microservices, RESTful APIs, and CI/CD pipelines in a production environment, with hybrid working and a strong emphasis on collaboration and innovation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building scalable cloud services on Azure.
• Strong C# background with microservices and REST APIs.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes (AKS) and CI/CD in production.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of highly available SaaS platform services on Azure.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation using Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within AVEVA CONNECT Platform.
• Identify risks and opportunities to improve production reliability and performance.
