Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services seeks a Senior Delivery Consultant to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions, driving customer success through cloud journeys and best practices across projects. You will lead migrations, optimize performance, and mitigate risk while guiding stakeholders and teams in enterprise deployments.

The role requires deep AWS product knowledge, architecting scalable and secure solutions, and acting as a trusted advisor on emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience as technical specialist in design and architecture
• Experience in cloud based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network and operating system
• Experience in external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management
• Application modernisation patterns and strategies
• Containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS)
• Microservices architecture design and implementation
• Serverless computing and event-driven architectures
• API design and management
• Application refactoring and re-platforming techniques
• Cloud-native development practices

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
• Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
• Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
• Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts
