Job summary

Amazon AWS ProServe seeks a Senior Cloud Architect to lead enterprise cloud engagements for the Global Financial Services sector in the UK, translating business needs into scalable AWS solutions and mentoring project teams.

You will collaborate with C-level stakeholders, influence roadmaps, and shape best practices while navigating regulatory requirements and data sovereignty in financial services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional/military experience.
• Experience as technical specialist in design and architecture.
• Experience in cloud-based solutions and infrastructure components.
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, data, containers, serverless and modern app patterns.
• Excellent communication for executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of complex, enterprise cloud architectures for FS customers.
• Serve as trusted advisor to C-level and senior stakeholders, translating business requirements into scalable cloud solutions.
• Drive cloud adoption strategies including migrations, modernization, data analytics, AI/ML, and hybrid architectures.
• Develop architectures, reference implementations, and POCs.
• Mentor junior architects and raise technical bar.
• Collaborate with AWS service teams to influence roadmaps.
• Contribute to reusable assets and methodologies that scale ProServe's impact.
• Navigate regulatory and data sovereignty requirements for financial services.
