Job summary

Bupa's Eglantine Villa Care Home in Horton Kirby, Dartford, is looking for a Clinical Unit Manager to lead the nursing team, ensure person-centred care and support residents’ independence, choice and dignity. You will provide clinical guidance, mentor staff, and oversee daily operations on a roster that includes 8am–8pm shifts.

The role offers up to £23.00 per hour, permanent 42 hours per week (3 days on the floor with 6 hours supernumerary) and a welcome bonus.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with valid NMC pin.
• Passionate about elderly care and dignity.
• Strong communicator with residents and families.
• Ability to lead, mentor and delegate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Promote resident independence, choice and dignity while ensuring high care standards.
• Assess residents’ wellbeing and maintain accurate records.
• Deliver clinical guidance and lead the care team to ensure safe, smooth operation.
• Build relationships with residents, their families and local partners.
