Job summary

Bupa UK is seeking a Clinical Unit Manager for our Brighton care home on Warren Road. You will lead a nursing team, deliver person-centred care and ensure high standards of clinical governance during 48 hours per week, with 8am–8pm shifts and alternate weekends.

The role requires a Registered Nurse with an NMC pin, strong leadership and a commitment to independence and dignity for residents, plus a welcome bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin and commitment to codes of conduct.
• Passionate about caring for the elderly and maintaining independence, dignity and choice.
• Effective communicator who builds relationships with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Promote residents' independence, choice and dignity while ensuring high care standards by the team.
• Assess residents' wellbeing (physical, emotional, social) and maintain accurate records.
• Provide clinical guidance, lead by example, and mentor the team for safe, efficient operation.
• Build lasting relationships with residents and their families and engage with the local community.
• Liaise with local partners to raise the care home’s profile and outcomes.
