Job summary

ICON Clinical Research is seeking a Senior Clinical Trial Manager to lead cross-functional teams and drive end-to-end trial delivery. You will oversee non-interventional and interventional studies, ensure quality outcomes, and manage external CROs in a global setting.

You will shape study design, execution, and reporting, including retrospective/prospective designs, RWE and epidemiology, with a focus on delivering value to patients and sponsors.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a Clinical Trial Management position at a CRO or Pharmaceutical Organization.
• Bachelor's degree in health, life sciences, or Advanced degree (e.g. MS, PhD, PharmD)
• At least 10+ years ideally of relevant experience in clinical trial management.
• Experience in managing complex or global trials is advantageous.
• Preferred: Experience in managing all trial components from start-up to database lock.
• Preferred: Experience in leading and driving cross-functional teams including oversight of external CROs, etc.
• Proven expertise in the proactive identification of issues which may impact clinical programmes coupled with the ability to contribute to solutions affecting cross-functional matrix teams.
• Demonstrated experience leading in matrix environment to deliver projects, develop clinical plans, and manage change.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive cross-functional teams to deliver clinical trial operations.
• Manage non-interventional and interventional studies using primary and secondary data sources.
• Oversee end-to-end study design, execution and reporting of clinical studies and trials.
• Coordinate prospective and retrospective non-interventional studies, RWE and epidemiology projects.
• Oversee external CROs and vendors to ensure project milestones and quality.
• Provide leadership to teams and stakeholders to achieve program goals.
