Job summary

Care Fertility Northampton invites a HCPC-registered Senior Clinical Scientist for a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover. You will contribute to the safe operation of our embryology laboratory, perform advanced procedures (including ICSI), and support governance and quality initiatives to improve patient care.

Qualifications

• HCPC-registered Clinical Scientist with significant experience in clinical embryology and competence in core embryology techniques, including ICSI.
• Experience of embryo biopsy is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of laboratory governance, quality management systems and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Experience of supporting, training or mentoring colleagues would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced embryology procedures and contribute to governance activities.
• Support service development initiatives and quality improvement.
• Coach and mentor the next generation of scientists.
