Devon Partnership Nhs Trust is recruiting Senior Clinical Psychologists (Band 8a) to join the Urgent Care Pathway for Children and Family Health Devon. Roles are based in North Devon, Torbay and South Devon as 0.8WTE with potential to progress from Band 7 to Band 8a within two years.

The role focuses on high-quality psychological care, AMBIT-guided practice, and opportunities for AMBIT/DBT/EMDR training, with regular supervision and a supportive psychology network.

Qualifikationen

• Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent e.g. Masters level qualification if qualified before 1996.
• Active HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
• Post-qualification specialist therapy/assessment training relevant to children and young people.
• Post-qualification training or proven experience in supervision.

Aufgaben

• Provide specialist psychological assessments, formulations and interventions for children and young people and families.
• Contribute to multi-disciplinary team working and share psychological thinking through consultation.
• Offer clinical supervision and support to colleagues within the Urgent Care pathway.
• Participate in service development, evaluation and quality improvement aligned with THRIVE framework.
• Support trauma-informed, developmentally sensitive practice across the pathway.
• Engage in CPD and training, including AMBIT, DBT, EMDR as opportunities arise.
• Collaborate with young people, families and professionals across systems for joined-up care.
