Job summary

Devon Partnership Trust in Exeter is seeking a Principal Clinical/Counselling Psychologist or Psychological Therapist to lead, develop and deliver high-quality psychological care. You will hold a specialist caseload, supervise clinicians, trainees and volunteers, and contribute to governance and service development, while aligning with Trust priorities.

Qualifications

• Training and experience in trauma-focused therapies.
• Experience in adult mental health services or agencies with severe mental health difficulties.
• Experience in teaching, training and supervision, including clinical supervision of clinicians from other backgrounds.
• Experience in leadership roles within clinical psychology/therapy services in the NHS and contributing to policy implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, influence and deliver high-quality psychological care within Exeter Core Adult Mental Health Services.
• Provide expert assessment, formulation and evidence-based interventions to individuals, families, carers and groups.
• Offer high-level consultation and guidance to multidisciplinary colleagues and partner services.
