You will deliver assessments, formulations and evidence-based interventions for transgender and gender diverse adults within NHS England guidelines, contributing to high-quality, person-centred care.

The role offers development opportunities, supervision of trainees, and potential progression from Band 7 to 8a within 12 months, with flexible working

Qualifikationen

• Doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology as accredited by the BPS with HCPC registration.
• Post-doctoral training in one or more additional specialised areas of psychological practice.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development as recommended by the BPS.
• Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment across care settings.
• Experience of exercising full clinical responsibility within a multidisciplinary care plan.

Aufgaben

• Provide specialist psychological assessments, formulations and interventions for adults in the Gender Identity Service.
• Develop and implement treatment plans drawing on multiple modalities.
• Offer guidance to multidisciplinary colleagues and contribute to care planning.
• Work autonomously with clinical responsibility for assessment and discharge.
• Deliver supervision to Trainee and Assistant Psychologists and support the team.
• Contribute to service development including audit, research and quality improvement.
