Job summary

Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust is offering a pharmacist rotational programme designed to develop clinical and professional skills. You will rotate across several specialties and work as part of an MDT, with protected learning time and mentorship under the pharmacist professional development programme.

The role supports progression towards Independent Prescribing and emphasizes quality improvement and service development in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

MPharm or equivalent academic qualification.
Completed Pre-Registration year leading to Membership of the General Pharmaceutical Council
Current membership of the General Pharmaceutical Council
Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Pharmacy (or equivalent) or currently studying for it.

Responsibilities

Participates in the provision of a comprehensive pharmaceutical service across Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust and contracted sites.
Undertakes clinical pharmacy duties on delegated wards, advising medical staff and nurses on safe prescribing and administration.
Provides training and support to undergraduates, pre-registration pharmacists and junior staff.
Undertakes risk assessments and updates safe systems of work as required.
You may be required to work weekends, bank holidays and on-call on a rota basis.
