Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust is seeking two part-time senior pharmacists to lead the clinical pharmacy service at Birmingham Women’s Hospital. You will oversee delivery across maternity, gynaecology and neonatal directorates, including NICU, and deputise for the Principal Pharmacist when required.

You will work with the Pharmacy and wider multidisciplinary teams to drive service improvement, governance, audit and education, ensuring safe, effective and patient-centred

Formación

• Registered pharmacist with GPhC registration.
• Experience leading clinical pharmacy services.
• Experience in audits, governance and training.
• Ability to deputise for Principal Pharmacist when required.

Responsabilidades

• To lead, develop and deliver the clinical pharmacy service to ensure patients receive outstanding pharmaceutical care.
• Co-ordinate day-to-day duties, identify gaps and devise plans to manage them.
• Supervise, motivate and support the team for smooth workflow.
• Deputise for the Principal Pharmacist as required.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver service improvement projects.
• Attend meetings to discuss patient care, safety and cost-efficient medicine use.
• Write directorate reports on finance, medicines safety and governance.
• Support clinical governance, investigate incidents and support medicines optimisation.
• Lead in audit and education/training, and contribute to guideline/policy development.
