Main duties of the jobThe successful candidate will participate in the 1:8 full shift rota providing cover for both Obstetrics and Gynaecology in a three-tier system. The night on-call team comprises an SHO , two registrars and a Consultant. The consultant is resident from 0800 - 2200 to support high-quality care and outstanding training opportunities.
This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to develop skills towards specialty O&G applications or gaining experience of NHS systems.

Person SpecificationQualificationsEssential- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
- Has full GMC registration with a licence to practice
- Evidence of good written and verbal communication skills
Desirable- MRCOG Part 1 (UK) or equivalent
- Completion of multiprofessional training in emergencies e.g. Prompt
Clinical ExperienceEssential- Experience of NHS hospital medicine
- Shows an understanding of clinical governance, patient safety and corporate risk
