East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust in Eastbourne is seeking an Accredited Clinical Coding Auditor to shape the future of the Coding service. You will lead quality improvement, mentor coders, and support performance targets while helping implement a new EPR system and agile ways of working.

The role offers flexible working including up to three days from home, with interview discussions. You will collaborate with lead clinicians to ensure timely, standardised, high‑quality data for performance

Responsabilidades

• Lead quality improvement within the Clinical Coding service and act as a role model for excellence.
• Monitor and report on key performance and quality indicators to drive accuracy and productivity.
• Set up and perform internal coding audits using benchmarking tools and data.
• Participate in external exchange audits with other Trusts.
• Mentor trainee coders within the department’s quality framework.
• Support the Head of Clinical Coding in developing and managing strategic plans for the department.
