Job summary

Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking ACC-qualified Senior Clinical Coders to manage the clinical coding of all acute specialties. You will translate medical records into ICD-10 and OPCS codes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with national standards.

The role supports an Agile Working Policy with on-site and remote working opportunities, including the facility to work from home via remote access, and offers an uplift for ACC qualification.

Qualifications

• ACC qualification required.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10 and OPCS classification systems.
• Experience in clinical coding of inpatient and day-case episodes.

Responsibilities

• Code inpatient and day-case episodes across all specialties.
• Liaise with clinicians to verify data in patient notes and systems.
• Mentor and support junior coders to develop accuracy and speed.
