Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Client Quality Engineer (Manufacturing) for Bridgwater. The role leads quality across a busy production site delivering high-quality nonwoven and engineered textile products to multiple industries.

Expect ownership of complex customer quality matters, root cause analysis, and driving CAPA and risk management. A manufacturing background with knowledge of ISO 9001/13485/AS9100 is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior Quality Engineering or equivalent role within manufacturing.
• Good knowledge of quality management systems and standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Act as a senior quality interface for complex or high-impact customer, supplier and internal quality matters
• Lead structured investigations and ensure timely, effective corrective and preventive actions
• Support customer escalations, audits and performance discussions with professionalism and credibility
• Coach Quality Engineers to improve the quality of investigations, customer communication and issue resolution
• Own and improve core quality processes, including complaints, deviations, CAPA, control plans, PFMEA and risk management
• Use quality data, trends and KPIs to identify systemic issues and prioritise improvement activity
