Ernest Gordon Recruitment is hiring a Quality Engineer (Manufacturing) for a growing Luton-based manufacturer serving the Automotive, Food and Motorsport sectors. The role offers progression routes, an early Friday finish and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will perform quality inspections on processed parts, use Aberlink CMM to identify defects, and help develop and maintain ISO9001-compliant quality procedures. Monday–Friday pattern with some overtime available is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience performing quality inspections on manufactured parts.
• Experience with Aberlink CMM software for defect identification.
• Knowledge of ISO9001 quality systems and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections on processing parts and finished materials.
• Undertake visual and dimensional inspections of supplied materials prior to manufacturing.
• Use Aberlink CMM machinery to identify defects and assess machined parts quality.
• Support the development and maintenance of quality procedures and systems in accordance with ISO9001 standards.
• Adhere to the Monday–Thursday 08:00–17:00 and Friday 08:00–14:00 work pattern.
