Job summary

Clear Legal & Financial Recruitment is seeking an ACA/ACCA-qualified Senior Client Manager for our Stockport office. You will own a diverse client portfolio, lead an accounting team, and deliver commercial advice to corporate and owner-managed clients.

You will oversee statutory year-end, management accounts, and tax computations, with a focus on profitability, billing, and client satisfaction. The role supports hybrid working and career progression toward Director/Partner levels.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification is essential.
• Experience in a UK accountancy practice with a corporate/owner-managed client base.
• Strong knowledge of UK statutory accounts, corporation tax and personal tax.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of corporate and owner-managed clients, delivering proactive commercial advice.
• Lead and develop the accounting team, reviewing work and meeting deadlines and budgets.
• Drive billing, WIP management and profitability while identifying cross-sell opportunities.
