Job Description

1. Developing strong relationships with clients and serving as a primary contact for accountancy and tax queries.
2. Maintaining sound knowledge of bookkeeping, double entry systems, and journal entries.
3. Processing quarterly VAT returns, management accounts, year-end accounts, and account reconciliations.
4. Assisting with tax return compliance, including preparing, submitting, and reviewing individual and company tax returns.
5. Handling queries from Inland Revenue and Companies House.
6. Providing financial analysis and forecasting, advising on potential issues, trends, and improvements.

The Successful Applicant

1. ACCA or ACA qualified
2. At least 10 years of practice experience
3. Knowledge of various accounting software
4. Strong organizational and communication skills
