Job Description

1. Develop strong relationships with clients and serve as the primary contact for accountancy and tax queries.
2. Maintain sound knowledge of bookkeeping, double entry systems, and journal entries.
3. Process quarterly VAT returns, management accounts, year-end accounts, and account reconciliations.
4. Assist with tax return compliance, including preparing, submitting, and reviewing individual and company tax returns for final accounts preparation and submission.
5. Handle queries from Inland Revenue and Companies House.
6. Provide analysis and forecast financial reporting, advising on potential issues, trends, and improvements.

The Successful Applicant

• ACCA or ACA qualified
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in practice
• Knowledge of various accounting software
• Strong organizational and communication skills
