Job summary

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (AJG) is seeking a Senior Account Handler to join the corporate team in Glasgow. In this role, you will support existing clients and identify new business opportunities by applying your technical knowledge and communication skills.

Your responsibilities include preparing client documentation, obtaining renewal terms, and managing insurer queries while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial insurance and excellent client service skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in larger commercial or corporate insurance across multiple classes of business would be highly regarded.
• Proven ability to work to targets within a regulated and measurable framework.
• Strong risk awareness when handling client information.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate documentation for new clients.
• Obtain renewal terms and prepare client presentations.
• Coordinate renewal quotes and adjustments for existing clients.

Skills

Commercial or corporate insurance experience

Cert CII qualification

Excellent communication skills

Risk awareness

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Education

Cert CII or progress towards Dip CII or ACII
