Job summary

Addepar is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer for Customer Facing Applied AI to partner with strategic clients and translate complex data problems into deployable AI solutions.

You will prototype, test, and ship AI features that impact client workflows, integrating LLMs and data tools with production systems. You’ll work closely with product and engineering teams across locations, travel occasionally to client sites, and ensure reliability, performance, and a great client experience.

Qualifications

• Extensive professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with Python as a primary language.
• Experience working with LLM APIs including function calling and structured outputs.
• Comfort with SQL for data exploration and building data-grounded AI workflows.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS, Math, or similar quantitative field, or equivalent experience.
