Job summary

Armstrong Knight in Essex, UK, is seeking a Senior Client Bookkeeper to manage a diverse portfolio with high-quality bookkeeping and management accounting services.

You will process records in Xero, Sage and QuickBooks, prepare VAT returns, produce monthly and quarterly management accounts, and liaise with clients.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an accountancy practice environment.
• Strong bookkeeping experience across multiple clients.
• Excellent knowledge of Xero, Sage and QuickBooks.
• Experience preparing VAT Returns and Management Accounts.
• Exposure to Personal Tax and Corporation Tax work.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of bookkeeping clients.
• Processing and reviewing bookkeeping records using Xero, Sage and QuickBooks.
• Preparing and submitting VAT Returns.
• Producing monthly and quarterly Management Accounts.
• Bank, supplier and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assisting clients with cloud accounting software and best practices.
