A leading company in the insurance sector is seeking a Senior Client Advisor for their Marsh Specialty Real Estate team in Manchester. The ideal candidate will have experience in account management, with a focus on client development in real estate or similar sectors. This hybrid role demands strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage a diverse book of business, ensuring client satisfaction while pursuing growth opportunities.
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Marsh Specialty, Real Estate team, based in Manchester. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least 3 days a week in the office.
The role: Senior Client Advisor
This position would suit an experienced Account Handler/Manager having worked in a similar role previously and now looking for the opportunity to works towards a Client Executive role in the future.
You will be responsible for supporting the Client Executives in maintaining their large book of business and handling the day-to-day activities including renewals, mid-term adjustments, handling any client queries as well as cross selling or up selling additional solutions where possible.
A background within Real Estate, Property or Construction is ideal however any other commercial/corporate sectors can be considered.
We will rely on you to:
Work with Client Executives to retain and generate new business, by leveraging strategy information and managing contract reviews and midterm changes.
Partner with Client Executives to help them achieve sales goals
Work on all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards.
Manage all day-to-day queries, renewals, amendments and mid-term adjustments for a number of our larger accounts
Build and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, client teams and producers to provide best in class service and drive growth.
Offer technical support for complex or high-priority relationships when needed to ensure relationship satisfaction and maintain a mutual internal and external understanding.
Serve as a client contact for day-to-day needs and answer standard or more difficult client questions to improve the client experience.
Maintains a detailed understanding of changing market condition and understands and complies with all compliance, professional and transparency standards to better serve clients
What you need to have:
Proven experience of Account Handling with medium to large UK Accounts.
Excellent interpersonal skills with previous client facing experience preferred.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to work flexibly when required.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously.
Awareness of Clients’ business, their business issues, insurance programmes and service plans.
Strong numeracy and attention to detail skills.
Fully Competent in Microsoft Office Products.
