The Role

Deliver high-quality Claims Service to all clients, focusing on client interests and market integrity. Ensure Key Client Outcomes are met according to pre-defined standards. The Senior Claims Handler within Finex is responsible for servicing claims on a portfolio of accounts.

Principal Duties/Responsibilities

  • Manage client service delivery processes, adhering to Group policies and standards.
  • Understand clients' business needs and operational requirements.
  • Engage proactively with Claim Advocates and Sales teams.
  • Build and maintain constructive relationships with clients, third parties, and underwriters.
  • Manage claims processes within defined Key Client Outcome (KCO) targets, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Resolve client, carrier, and internal queries efficiently.
  • Manage financial aspects like Cash and Bureau debt proactively to prevent issues.
  • Provide input on process improvements and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Maintain knowledge of accounts, market developments, and claims-specific changes.
  • Coordinate with Mumbai colleagues on insurer/reinsurer notifications and responses.
  • Resolve market-related loss issues promptly.
  • Negotiate claims settlements with insurers/reinsurers using technical knowledge.
  • Assist in resolving complex claims and manage high-profile claims with internal and external communications.
  • Monitor performance of underwriters, reinsurers, and service providers to safeguard client interests.
  • Contribute to the Willis Quality Index as needed.

Other

  • Support management in business risk management as per the BU risk register.
