A leading Lloyd's broker has a new opening for a Senior Claims Advocate within their Financial Lines claims team. Our client is looking for a candidate with proven expertise in handling a sophisticated portfolio of D&O/Financial Lines claims from within private practice, an insurer, or broking environment.

In this Senior Claims Advocate role, you will be primarily responsible for managing the strategy, process, and successful outcomes across a portfolio of global D&O and related Financial Lines claims. Applicants should have previous experience managing Directors & Officers claims (either in private practice, for an insurer, or broker).

This position suits candidates with supervisory or managerial experience or those looking to step into a claims management role. It will be a hybrid role.

Daily responsibilities include:

  1. Provision of advice and guidance on coverage and analysis of coverage-related issues for clients and network to facilitate claim settlement.
  2. Handling the claims negotiation process with clients, underwriters, and legal representatives.
  3. Facilitating resolution of coverage issues.
  4. Proactively anticipating and presenting strategies to clients for claim resolution.
  5. Coordinating discussions and meetings to ensure effective communication between clients, underwriters, and their representatives regarding settlements.
